ConversatioNZ is about bringing together people who have impact on the food industry here in New Zealand - chefs, writers, growers, artisan producers and the food distributors.
We dream big! We want to challenge, inspire and push ourselves to the next level, to have a voice of our own and create strong community around food in New Zealand.
ConversatioNZ is born from a idea of a small circle of individuals to bring together a food community. It is about looking deep within and finding new ways to work together; to inspire, to learn and grow. This is not about money nor financial gain, it is about a way of life/work/play and looking into the future.

I discovered Anne-Marie of Auckland Food Tours a couple of months ago and was delighted to find a die-hard Foodie behind this fledgling food tour company.
This will undoubtedly be an exciting culinary tour of the North Shore - complete with a cross section of small artisan producers, secret hidden retailers and plenty of tasty treats to nibble on.
I LOVE this event - and this is the 19th year and the ticket sales support Hospice. I am (of course) particularly interested in the edible gardens... and Lynda Hallinans' Foggydale Farm is squarely on my itinerary .. along with the Auckland Beekeepers club in fact there are 26 gardens to visit throughout Auckland.
